From one blogger to another, it is pretty obvious that blogging is not cheap.

Swagbucks review: Tips for earning extra cash.

So, read this Swagbucks review if you need a few extra dollars (who doesn't?) here and there to help your business, pay for college, or just to have in your pocket for a rainy day.

Swagbucks is a program that is free to join (just click here to sign up).

With Swagbucks, it is easy to make money in your spare time.

All you need to do is fill out online surveys, watch a few videos and movie trailers, and shop online.

Setting Up Swagbucks Is Easy

With Swagbucks, you can do all of the above with an app on your smartphone or from your computer.

This video is a quick overview of how it works.

Basically, what you do is jump through a few hoops to earn Swagbucks points.

But wait!

The “Hoops” include things that you would do anyway. So, why not get paid?

All you to do are things like

  • complete online surveys,
  • watch videos,
  • search the web – seriously
  • play games, and
  • shop online.

Once you have a certain amount of points, you cash them in and get free gift cards in exchange.

You then can use the gift cards you get from Swagbucks as you would any gift card and use them to shop at your favorite stores.

You Get to Choose Your Rewards

The nice thing about Swagbucks is that you get to choose your rewards.

There are 3 factors –

  1. how many Swagbucks points you have
  2. the value of the gift card that you want to receive
  3. and, where you want to shop

When you have collected a good amount of Swagbucks points – you go the Rewards section of their website and choose how many points you want to redeem and the type of card that you want.

I have seen rewards start at as little as 300 points for a $3 gift card and go up from there.

There are even discounts offered from time to time.

Earning a Few Extra Dollars Gives You Freedom

Life is expensive, right?

So, it's hard to find money to invest in your own blogging business.

Whenever I coupon, or use sites like Swagbucks or Ibotta, I feel like that is kind of like “found” money.

I don't feel guilty about spending the dollars that I earn on things that I want to try or test out for my blog.
