Craft Room Organization

Craft rooms are clutter magnets. There are so many small bits and bobs to keep track of. As a crafter and DIY hobbyist, myself, I know that we have a tendency to collect things that could be useful on a still unknown future project. That small bit of leftover yarn? Keep it! That unique extra button from a long discarded coat? Keep it! That fabric scrap? You know … keep it.

I truly have a love/hate relationship with everything DIY and craft related. My natural inclination leans towards minimalism, I love the feeling of an uncluttered space. But my creative side wants all the tools and embellishments to make something new.

The key, of course, is finding balance and keeping the craft room neat and organized, so that you have the mental space to create.
