Spring Cleaning and Organization Time Is Here!

Well, here we are – spring is here again – and it may be cliché but this time of year is really the best time to give your house and your life a deep cleaning.

When we lived in the Northeast, I had the most motivation to clean before the weather got really nice – because once things warmed up, I did not want to spend all my spare time inside cleaning house.

And now, in the Southeast, the same thing holds true for different reasons. In the spring, the weather is still tolerable. And you definitely want to tackle any garage projects or an outdoor refresh before things get too hot.

So, I just wanted to pop on the blog today to give you a little hint as to what is coming.

Spring Cleaning and Home Decor Refresh Ideas to Come

I will be breaking down the cleaning process one room at a time. And while I am at it, I will include ideas for renewing some home decor and giving each room a little ugrade.

We recently moved from a house that we lived in for a really long time – like decades. That was a huge, eye opening experience. But one thing that really stood out is that our home decor and furniture was tired and worn out. But I stopped really seeing it because it had been like that forever.

I honestly think I would have enjoyed my house more if I had done a little decor updating on a regular basis – maybe a new wall hanging or replacing an old end table or duvet. Small items like new linens can go a long way to revive a room and it doesn’t need to cost a lot of money.
