Brightech Sky LED Torchiere Floor Lamp Review

I am a bright lights kind of person. Nothing is more uplifting than having natural daylight pour through the windows and light up a room on a bright sunny day.

But sometimes the sun just doesn’t want to cooperate. 😉 And then there are those hours from dusk to dawn where the lighting is all up to you.

No matter what type of lights you have in your home, there is always a dark corner here and there that could use a little something.

I have always found that a torchiere lamp is a great choice for brightening up those difficult spots.

Torchiere lamps are really versatile because you don’t need a table for the lamp to sit on.

The lamps themselves are usually tall and slim – so it doesn’t really get in your way either.

When Brightech reached out to me to review the Sky LED Torchiere Super Bright Lamp, I was happy to do so because it is quite a practical and useful product for any home.

About This Brightech Torchiere Lamp

The Sky LED Torchiere Super Bright Lamp is a slim, sophisticated, and unobtrusive lamp that you can tuck into just about any corner.

Because the light source is LED – the lamp is lightweight and the light head itself is thin and sleek.

The lamp is 63 inches tall and the base and the shade are 10 inches in diameter.

The shade is a solid color underneath with the light source on top.

It also can be tilted at a slight angle to throw the light in the direction that you would like it to go.

I ordered my lamp in the dark bronze color but it does come in seven color options – so there should something to fit your decor.

The LED bulbs put out a 3,000K warm white hue and there are three brightness levels that you control with a touch sensitive button.

This button control is located on the post about a third of the way down from the shade which makes it convenient for you to control whether you are sitting next to the lamp or standing.

What I Like About the Brightech SKY LED Torchiere Lamp

I like just about everything about the Brightech SKY LED Torchiere Lamp.

As I mentioned, it is lightweight and slim enough to fit anywhere.

The light is warm enough for reading and giving a cozy feel to a room but it is white enough that the room does not feel too yellow or dim.

I was a little worried that the lamp might not be bright enough at night because the bottom of the shade is a dark color.

However, the lamp is quite bright at night – so I didn’t have to worry at all.

The following photo is an unedited photo of the lamp on at night with no other lights on in the room – hopefully it will give you a good idea.

You can control the brightness so you can use it for mood lighting or for task lighting.

And, most importantly, the lamp itself is SO easy to put together! You simply screw the four parts of the tube to the base and the shade and you are done.

Another plus is that the cord is nice and long so you don’t have to place it right next to an electrical outlet or use an extension cord.

Brightech is one of my favorite lighting brands. I previously reviewed their Lightview XL Magnifying Glass Lamp – and still use that every day in my home office space.
